Okay, I understand that this is not your average job posting but this also isn't your average situation.
About one year ago I came up with an idea for a internet based business. I worked on planning ten hours per day for seven months. I had a team organized and an initial round of funding promised. However, in November, our CTO up and left for LA to pursue a musical career (his group is pretty amazing and is receiving support from Red Bull so who can really blame him). Due to his departure, I decided take a break from CSUS, with one semester remaining, and head back to Los Rios to earn an A.S. in web development.
Everything was going fine until last Tuesday when I received an email from I/O Ventures (I applied in August when our CTO was still involved) explaining that I my company has made it to the final round. If we win I/O Ventures will give us $25k, assistance on company formation, training and round table sessions with executives from some of the top tech companies (COO and co-founder of MySpace, CEO of Bit Torrent, and CEO of Yelp to name a few), and an office space in SF to work out of. Basically, I am throwing up a prayer.
I am trying to find a like minded partner, a potential CTO, who will help my company grow. Age is not an issue, but experience is. Since the company is centered around action sports, I need someone who lives and breathes the culture. You need to be responsible and have a strong portfolio. It would be a plus if you have management experience.
